10 Unique Ways To Be More Motivated Now

When I first started writing, it was all about trying to write and not read. It took me forever to get into my groove. In fact, it took me almost a year to finish writing my novel in one sitting. So, the reason why I’m here today is that my motivation has improved drastically since publishing my debut book. In this post, I am going to share some of the tips with you that helped me improve my creative mindset and made me a better writer by reading other writers’ work, while also allowing me a chance of making my own unique, original pieces. These tips can help anyone who is looking for ways to improve their productivity or self-esteem. You might find there are no “one size fits all” answers to motivation, but these tips should give your writing life a little boost. And remember, if any of your tips don’t yield results, please let us know in the comments below.

1. Spend time with friends and family. Get together with like-minded people who have something inspiring to say. This is a great way to build up your energy level.

2. Watch motivational interviews on YouTube. The list of videos is endless, so try searching youtube related search terms such as “motivational interviews”. Or maybe watch inspirational quotes on tv (if possible). After watching these interviews, it will be very easy for you to come up with ideas of how to build up your productivity.

3. Read stories. Whether they’re from books you already own or ones written to inspire you, stories make great motivators. If you want to read more than just articles, go ahead and check out our amazing collection here. Although I’m sure you’ll see plenty of those too.

4. Try new things every once in awhile. No matter what industry you’re working in or what sort of job you do, it’s important to try new things for inspiration or just to challenge yourself. There’s nothing wrong with using old strategies as well. Just find them and incorporate them into your regular schedule. Take the best from both worlds.

5. Create free time for yourself and look for fun activities within your community or social settings. If you’re a writer, take an hour each day to create content for others who are interested in getting engaged with what you have to say without even being asked.

6. Learn something new. Nothing sparks creativity quite like learning something brand new. Learning something new means that you can apply what you learn in a different context. That could mean applying another concept, technique or skill to your style or story. Maybe even just to keep yourself motivated and informed on current events. Keep that mind set going and start asking questions when someone says something interesting to you. See what they say about it after reading your response instead of thinking they’re stupid or ignorant.

7. Use your imagination. Imagination is the ability to imagine how something would look, feel and sound. Creating visual aids for your work or ideas can increase your confidence, as well as help you visualize your stories from beginning to end. This helps you create real, lifelike characters and allows you to explore the world around you through their eyes.

8. Make time for exercise. Exercise is good for everything, but it’s especially good for keeping your brain active and energized. Even just short walks around the neighborhood every morning really counts and keeps you sharp. It doesn’t even need to be a strenuous workout - just 30 minutes a day of physical activity is enough!

9. Change your perspective. Instead of focusing on the negative aspects of something, focus on the positive. What if the issue is caused because someone had a bad influence in their friend’s life? How about the person involved in the situation who didn’t do anything wrong? Think about the way that someone else would feel. It helps you understand how things usually work. Also, it makes you realize that sometimes we are the problem - not the solution.

10. Don’t forget to breathe. Breathing is extremely important for your mental health and emotional state. One of my favorite techniques for staying calm is to relax your body and breathe deeply. Sometimes it feels like your head almost explodes when you think about it, so take a moment off and enjoy the process.
